SURF SCIENCE LISTSERVER
HOSTED BY STANFORD UNIVERSITY
Surf science is an interdisciplinary arena of increasing scientific attention, in part because of increasing calls for surf conservation. Surf science encompasses everything from surf economics and tourism to wave resource management to the wave themselves.
Are you an academic, agency, or otherwise affiliated researcher interested in the scholarship of surfing? If so, please click below to sign up for the Surf-Research Listserver.
The purpose of the listserver is to provide a forum for Internet discussions and announcements pertaining to academic research on surfing (including surf, surfers, and surfing resources and culture) and associated conservation and education efforts. The list is primarily for use by surf science researchers, coastal resource managers, surfing and coastal civil society organizations, and educators, but is of course open to everybody.
The list is co-hosted with the Center for Surf Research at SDSU and the International Association of Surfing Academics. Learn more about the list HERE.
